Standing 8 count: a referee may give a fighter a Standing 8 Count if the fighter is receiving too many blows, appears hurt, or if the referee just wants to get a better look at the fighter to assess their state. A Standing 8 Count is an 8 second break for the affected fighter to recover, while the attacking fighter must wait in a white corner until the referee signals to resume the fight. If a fighter receives three Standing 8 Counts in one round, the referee will stop the fight. Note that a standing 8 count does NOT automatically effect judges scoring for that round.
Knockdown: If a fighter is knocked down during their fight, they will be given 10 seconds to stand and recover. If a fighter receives three Knock Downs in one round, the referee will stop the fight.
